don’t hide from your emotions

what

the wave of fun well its just the ride of life. the good life. in today’s world there are so many toy and opportunities to fly around the world and adventure. this can be for music goers, food lovers, big drinkers, and nature peeps. there are resorts and destinations for everyone. there is literally always something happening. events for all types of groups and crowds.

now with this available there is the potential for good and bad. the good being that people can explore all types of lifestyles and experiences. they can let go and immerse themselves into groups and new people. or they can seclude themselves in a particular circle of people with a certain beliefs in which the group all agrees upon without questioning or entertaining ideas that contradict the groups. there is the danger of self identity in which people cling onto certain ways and because everyone around them are acting and behaving in a similar manner; they never question if this way of life is in agreeance with their values.

who you hang out with really reflects who you are and are becoming….

the fun train can be such a release and celebration that fuels and stokes are inner fire of passion for life. but if you continuously push it to the extremes you may come out of balance. my belief is that by having contrasting experiences you can appreciate the ‘good’ even more. and even more so you have the ability to further know that you love something by the absence of that thing. for me this was surfing. it wasn’t until I moved away from the ocean that I understood the depth of my love for surfing. and I am so happy that I was able to experience this realization.

now fun. its so good. to feel fully alive. to feel the excitement of being and experience. recreation keeps us young and allows our inner child to be free of expression. because I think we all can agree that the world demands a serious manner from us. it asks us to be civilized and act properly. and there is nothing wrong with being obedient and under control.

I’m guessing you know where this is going… balance is key,,, always 😉

so you can see that becoming too civilized turns you into a rigid party pooper while being to free spirited can result in a burned out junky. both way too extreme.

but the point is….

balance

why

so why find balance. well for one reason: to be well rounded which results in depth. being one sided can make someone basic. and I believe everyone was the potential to be diverse unique awesome human beings.

Perhaps its not for everyone to want to live in the dance. jumping between structure and flow. but I do think everyone should desire a small taste of the other side. meaning trying something that makes them a little uncomfortable. for that is where growth happens.

we all feel more secure in what we know…. but there is so many reasons to get out of your comfort zone. and maybe all that some need is that little push or just that helping hand that will help guide them gently into the unknown waters.

how

well this is the hard part. for it takes some self awareness of yourself… the reason is because you will have tendencies towards one side of the coin.. or hell maybe you’re a master of balance, idk.

what I do know is that we have things that we gravitate towards and other things that we may want and desire, but because we’ve never been aquatinted or introduced so we’re shy and timid to engage.

so it really just comes down to you getting out there and trying new things. its never easy. for confidence comes from experience. meaning that by doing something again and over more you become more confident in your abilities. this in return boosts your confidence in knowing the outcomes which very much helps when compared to know experience. with the unknow the untamed mind is able to run wild with ideas that can lead to over thinking, anxiety, nervousness, and paranoia.

you won’t know unless you go for it. instead off running wild in your head, just give it a try. allow the opinions of other to brush past you. feel free in you. the person that you are right here right now. for the hardest critic can often be ourselves.

perfectionism is so dumb. get messy. humble your self and get out there.

yeew know it, so much love, cheers 2ya
