Unite with common values and ideals.
While moving towards a shared goal.
Can you have a whole country united if not everyone has the same values and ideals?
What if your direct community are people who, for the most part, you agree with and identify with. And then you have all of these interconnected communities that vary and differ but are all united under one body. These communities have their own laws and ways of life. And the governing body has an over lining code of conduct in which everyone agrees and abides by. Then overall the mission of the whole is to be self sufficient, non wasteful, innovative, helpful, and restorative. With one goal being to progress man kind with technology for better well being. And another goal in healing the planet with technology. And lastly to better our relationship with one another.
Like a tree. With roots separated going different directions yet connected at its center. Would this work. The communities would would be different varying roots where they fulfill their needs and wants by finding a place in which aligns with them. Then the trunk being what unites and holds the whole together. Then the branches and fruit are the shared goals of innovation, using technology for better well being, making the country self sufficient through businesses, and using new processes in production to be less wasteful.
Obviously, this is just a quick spit ball idea and needs more planning and actualizing but why not. It feels as if the U.S. was so gun hoe on telling the whole world that democracy was the best way to govern. We focused all of our attention outwardly to “help” everyone in being like us. And we never questioned our ways. We married capitalism and democracy and acted as if that it forever. It was an all in or nothing call.
Before the U.S. was the U.S. we were a bunch of fools running away from a monarchy. We wanted to be free. Get away from a government that had sole control over the citizens. Now the new frontier is technology. The ability to create application and join online social groups. What if there was there was a social app that was structured like the tree meta4 mentioned above. Having groups where people joined because they felt aligned with individual that share their ideal and values. All while the social app had its own code of conduct that it stood for. For example: do not do harm to others, freedom of expression, share you passion, and do what you love. Others like awareness, mindfulness, and growth thru understandment. (real raw, but I think you get the point)
The communities would be outlets to help one another and to learn from one another. Here would be a container for all people and types. It would propel self growth and knowledge. It would be a helpful resource to better express and learn about yourself. It would help cater better relationships where people can understand one another in an easier way. You could empathize and see where people are coming from by seeing their values, desires, interests, philosophies, and ideals.
As more and more people share it helps others who are scared, shy, or nervous to get venerable. It would be healing and liberating. It would help us evolve past this current social media and take us into a more evolved state. Rather than using filters to make things look better than they are it would be raw and real. It would be the fresh breath that everyone is desperately wanting. One where we can all speak how we want to speak. One where we can act how we want to act. Harsh judgment and criticism will dissipate as we collectively stand up and out.
Perhaps this is the frontier in which we create a new. Here is that giant body of water that we must cross. There will be uncertainty and storms as we travel across. But with hope of something great we can build our own and stand up for what we believe to be important. It takes a brave few to be the first across. So who’s with me?
