Welcome to the beginnings of the ‘DM4 Movie Guide’: An exploration of ideas and perspectives through the films we love, here we go.
How
It works likes this. From the first movie, which will be revealed in a minute here, will kick it off. From there, ‘the guide’ acts as an immersive “game”. It will take you through a variety of films and subjects which build upon the related themes at play. During the exploration there are choices to be made by the ‘user’ (you). These “forks in the road” will act as a “choose your own adventure book”. You have the steering wheel through this maze…
Why
The music and movies of our time and past contain lessons that we can grow upon from. With a rescoping and how we approach the screen there is an opportunity for self exploration. I’ve written more about this in another blog post: here

The first film on the list is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse (2018). There will be more to the why and how the game will begin. Still figuring out the details and the medium in which to play. So for now just get excited and wait for the unveiling.
